This resulted in a lawsuit filed by the HOA against Newbury for 2+ million dollars. Because Newbury used the legal system to extend the lawsuit out as long as possible, the HOA accepted a settlement for about half the damages - 1.2 million to get the repairs completed in 2019. I first discovered this when I had to replace an outlet that only had a single plug where I needed it to have two.
